GO FURTHER

Plans changed? Keep on going with your Greater Moscow subscription!

Since April 3, 2017 the "Go Further!” service has been available. It expands on the travel options already available with your Greater Moscow subscription.

Now, passengers can save time and go further in the areas covered by the "Greater Moscow" subscription pass, even within intersecting areas.

It's worth noting that earlier, passengers had to get off the train at the last station in the "Greater Moscow" subscription pass zone, buy a new ticket at the ticket office and go further from there.

Now you can buy a single-use transit ticket at ticket offices in the zone of any station serving trains operating in the area served by the Greater Moscow subscription pass.

In order to take advantage of this new offer, the passenger must:
  • present your Greater Moscow subscription pass to the cashier at the departure station of the train which is in the subscription pass's validity zone.
  • buy a one-way or round-trip single-use transit ticket from the end station in the Greater Moscow subscription pass zone to your destination.

Preliminary registration of single-use transit tickets is similar to the procedure for issuing single-use suburban train tickets: not more than 10 days before departure.

Special-fare passengers:

Single-use tickets can be issued not only at regular fares, but according to various current passenger pricing plans. It works if you have a valid Greater Moscow subscription pass and a document confirming your eligibility to purchase single-use travel documents.

For example, if a student has purchased a full-price Greater Moscow subscription pass, then he can purchase a single-use transit ticket at a special rate at any ticket office within the active Greater Moscow subscription pass area.
